Hi there,

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Toufic Kourbeh, a passionate technologist, strategic leader, and lifelong innovator in the wireless telecommunications and IoT space. These days, I call South Jersey home, where I live with my two amazing sons, Aram-Philippe and Adam-Alexander, and our lovable, goofy Labrador, Jackson. My family is my anchor and my greatest source of joy, there’s nothing better than walking through the door to their smiles, laughter, and Jackson’s wagging tail after a long day.

When I’m not diving into the latest in tech or solving complex product challenges, you’ll probably find me out on the open road, riding my motorcycle through winding backroads. It’s where I find my freedom, my peace, and that ever-needed spark of adventure.

An Agent for Change

Over the past two decades, I’ve built a career at the crossroads of technology and business, driving innovation, shaping strategy, and delivering impactful solutions across wireless telecommunications, IoT, and product management. What began in 1997 as an IT technician role has evolved into a leadership journey that’s taken me through some of the industry’s most forward-thinking companies, including Charter Communications, Rakuten, and Comcast. Today, as a Director of Product Management, I continue to bridge the gap between emerging tech and real-world value.

My expertise spans 5G, WiFi 7, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), IoT solutions, and BSS/OSS architecture. I’ve led cross-functional teams to design and launch cutting-edge products, optimize network performance, and elevate the customer experience. Whether I’m architecting IoT workflows, developing next-gen WiFi solutions, or driving go-to-market strategies, I thrive on tackling complex challenges and delivering results that push the boundaries of connectivity.

One of my proudest accomplishments was serving as a lead contributor to the WBA NGH Provisioning Standardization project with the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), where I played a key role in shaping the technical specifications for Hotspot 2.0. I’ve also been instrumental in defining performance metrics and customer experience probes that have measurably enhanced user satisfaction across large-scale wireless networks.
